External Audit Manager – Assurance (Jordan)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced External Audit Manager to lead complex audit engagements and support the growth of its audit practice in Jordan. You will work with diverse, globally‑connected teams to deliver high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex external audit engagements for a range of clients.
• Oversee resource allocation, prioritize competing tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and communicate audit findings effectively.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the audit business.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or related field with ACCA or CPA qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of external audit experience, including team management.
• Previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of current and upcoming IFRS standards.
• Experience with audit and data‑analytics tools.
• Project‑management experience and ability to coach and mentor staff.
