Food Runner

About the role

The Food Runner supports the Guest Service team at The Ritz-Carlton Amman by ensuring food and beverage operations run smoothly. You will help create memorable experiences for guests by assisting with table settings, kitchen support, and maintaining clean work areas.

Key responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, replenish supplies, and keep service stations organized.
• Assist kitchen staff with food delivery, tray handling, and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including floors and equipment.
• Move, lift, and carry items up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Read and verify menu information to ensure accurate service.
• Follow safety, quality, and uniform standards at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; previous food‑and‑beverage experience is a plus.
• No supervisory experience needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
