Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer (AI Pilot)

About the role

Mindrift is seeking a freelance Full‑Stack Web App Developer to work on the Tendem project, an AI‑augmented platform that combines human expertise with generative AI. As an "AI Pilot," you will design and deliver interactive browser‑based applications that are ready for real users.

Key responsibilities

• Build full‑stack web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue or similar) and backend APIs (Python with FastAPI/Flask or Node with Express).
• Design data models and persistence layers with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) or NoSQL stores.
• Implement authentication, session handling, and role‑based access controls where required.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and AI/LLM services such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Handle state management, input validation, error handling, and loading states.
• Develop standalone Python tools and scripts for data processing or lightweight backend utilities.
• Review and refactor AI‑generated code to ensure correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering full‑stack web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time setting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
