QA Officer

About the role

The QA Officer will ensure the quality and reliability of Globitel’s software products by planning, executing, and reporting on a variety of test activities. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects and support continuous improvement of testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and perform functional, load, stress and disaster‑recovery testing for Globitel products.
• Review standards, procedures, tools and processes related to quality assurance.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases, and analyse the results.
• Monitor defects, communicate findings to developers and track resolution.
• Prepare test plans and produce regular testing reports.
• Assist project leaders in addressing quality issues and support teams in adopting new testing practices.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Familiarity with manual, automated, performance and regression testing methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with Playwright and WebDriver for web automation.
• Knowledge of functional, integration and system testing.
• Basic understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automation framework best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium) are a plus.
