Full/Associate/Assistant Professor – Chemical Engineering (Kuwait)

About the role

American International University (AIU) is seeking dynamic full‑time faculty members for its newly established School of Engineering. The position is based in Kuwait City and requires relocation. Candidates will teach undergraduate chemical engineering courses, mentor students, and contribute to research aligned with sustainable energy and food security.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate courses in basic engineering sciences, materials, and advanced chemical engineering topics.
• Develop and update curriculum, supervise labs, and mentor student projects.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish findings relevant to regional challenges.
• Participate in departmental and university service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong university teaching experience, preferably 5+ years.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse academic community.
