General Inspector – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a qualified General Inspector to join the Al Fuheis – Mahis Project team. The role focuses on supervising and inspecting infrastructure works, especially water network projects, to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect daily construction activities for compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise site works and verify that construction activities meet contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
• Review materials, workmanship, and construction methods against approved standards.
• Identify non‑conformance issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and progress documentation.
• Report technical or operational issues affecting project delivery.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are met on site.
• Participate in site meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of experience, or a Diploma with at least 10 years of experience.
• Proven experience in water network projects.
• Strong understanding of construction supervision, inspection procedures, and quality control requirements.
