Graduate Engineer – Roads & Civil Design

About the role

Egis is looking for a recent graduate to join its Design team in Amman, Jordan. As a Graduate Engineer – Roads and Civil, you will work alongside experienced engineers on the design and development of road and civil infrastructure projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of road and civil infrastructure using industry‑standard software.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation in line with relevant standards and codes.
• Conduct site surveys, analyse data, and support design development and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Review and quality‑assure design outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to design reports and technical presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain organised project records and documentation throughout the design process.
• Support the team in meeting project deadlines and delivering high‑quality outputs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, especially in roads and transportation infrastructure.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and design documentation.
• Solid understanding of design standards and codes.
