Grants Manager – Human Mobility Hub (Middle East Office)

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a Grants Manager for its Human Mobility Hub in the Middle East Office. This senior position provides strategic leadership over grants management, ensuring donor compliance and high‑quality proposal development while supporting resource mobilisation and partner capacity building.

Key responsibilities

• Lead grants and compliance management, aligning with NRC policies, PCM framework, donor regulations and audit requirements.
• Coordinate proposal development and donor reporting, ensuring consistency and quality of narrative and financial reports.
• Strengthen partnership and contract management, including due‑diligence, assessments, agreements and implementation of partnership systems.
• Build organisational capacity through technical guidance, training and field visits for staff and partners.
• Drive resource mobilisation and external engagement, supporting fundraising strategy and representing NRC in donor forums.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in donor relations and grants management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven experience working in complex environments with displaced populations.
• Strong knowledge of institutional donor rules and regulations (e.g., NMFA, Norad, SDC, ECHO, Dutch MFA).
• Eligibility to work in Amman, Jordan, without need for visa sponsorship.
• Experience with grant management systems and collaboration with local partners is an advantage.
