Group Head of Accounting

About the role

The Group Head of Accounting will own the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of Foodics' financial records across its multinational SaaS and FinTech operations. Based in Amman, this senior leader supports group consolidation, IFRS‑compliant reporting, and the external audit process while providing dedicated support to operations in KSA.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of all group entities, including intercompany eliminations, multi‑currency translation and minority interests.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and transfer‑pricing arrangements, ensuring correct accounting treatment and documentation across jurisdictions.
• Produce accurate consolidated financial statements in full compliance with IFRS and maintain the group reporting calendar.
• Act as the technical accounting authority on IFRS application, handling revenue recognition under IFRS 15 for subscription and usage‑based SaaS contracts, software capitalization (IAS 38) and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
• Lead external and statutory audits, serve as primary liaison with auditors and ensure timely statutory filings in every jurisdiction.
• Drive the annual budgeting process, periodic re‑forecasting and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting for multinational SaaS or FinTech businesses.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15, IAS 38 and IFRS 16.
• Proven track record in group consolidation, intercompany accounting and transfer‑pricing.
• Strong leadership skills to standardise processes and build high‑performing finance teams across multiple countries.
