Group Head of Accounting

About the role

Foodics is seeking a Group Head of Accounting to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial records across its multinational SaaS and FinTech operations. Based in Amman, the role supports consolidation, IFRS‑compliant reporting, and external audit for all entities, with a focus on the KSA market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of all group entities, handling intercompany eliminations, multi‑currency translation and minority interests.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and transfer‑pricing arrangements, ensuring proper accounting treatment and documentation.
• Produce consolidated financial statements in full compliance with IFRS and maintain the group reporting calendar.
• Act as the technical accounting authority on IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 38 and related policies, managing revenue recognition, lease accounting and software capitalization.
• Maintain a group accounting policy manual and ensure consistent application across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate group external audits and statutory audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and ensuring timely statutory filings.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting for multinational, multi‑entity SaaS or FinTech businesses.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and IAS 38.
• Proven ability to lead and standardise finance processes across different jurisdictions and currencies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to build a high‑performing finance function.
