Head of Digital Transformation Unit

About the role

KHCF is looking for a Head of Digital Transformation Unit to lead its digital transformation agenda, turning an approved strategy into a governed portfolio of technology-enabled business transformation. The role covers enterprise application lifecycle governance, PMO and business analysis, process transformation, operational integration and automation, digital channels and services, AI-enabled transformation, change adoption and delivery governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of the digital transformation roadmap and prioritise a measurable portfolio of transformation initiatives.
• Establish and sustain lifecycle governance of enterprise applications, including configuration, access, change/release, testing, documentation, support transition and vendor governance.
• Lead and mature the PMO, project/program governance and business analysis practices, including charters, scope, RAID, change control, UAT, acceptance, handover, closure and benefits realisation.
• Partner with business owners to redesign processes before digitisation, defining business rules, controls, KPIs, exceptions, ownership and target workflows.
• Govern operational integrations, APIs, workflow and intelligent automation, and govern the technology of websites, portals, self-service channels and digital services.
• Lead AI-enabled process transformation within enterprise AI governance, strengthen vendor and contract governance, and lead change, adoption and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and lead a high-performing Digital Transformation and Enterprise Applications team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a closely related discipline; Master's degree, MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in IT, digital transformation, enterprise applications, project/program management or business transformation.
• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience managing complex transformation, enterprise-application, program/portfolio or PMO work with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Proven track record of delivering organisation-wide transformation with measurable outcomes, adoption and controlled production transition.
• Mandatory PMP certification or an equivalent internationally recognised project/program management certification; Agile, Scrum, product-management, portfolio management, change management or enterprise architecture certifications are advantageous.
