SAP EWM L2 Functional Consultant

About the role

DXC is looking for an SAP EWM L2 functional consultant to provide L2 functional support, configuration, continuous improvement and project delivery for SAP EWM across DXC-supported companies. The consultant is the functional owner of assigned EWM processes, with in-depth knowledge of end-to-end warehouse business processes and SAP configuration. The role receives incidents and service requests escalated from L1 support, resolves issues within the application layer and escalates product defects to SAP L3 when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 functional support for EWM incidents, service requests and problems, resolving them on time according to priorities and service levels.
• Own functional investigation and root cause analysis, define corrective and preventive actions and escalate confirmed product defects to SAP with evidence.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into EWM solutions, considering standard capabilities, business controls, integration impacts and total cost of change.
• Configure, test and support inbound, outbound and internal warehouse processes, warehouse tasks/orders, putaway, picking, replenishment, posting change, physical inventory and handling units.
• Maintain and configure organizational structure, storage types, bins, activity areas, work centers, queues, resources and master data.
• Configure integrations with SAP ERP ECC/S4HANA and modules such as MM, SD, PP and QM, and support RF/mobile warehouse processes, barcode scanning and RFID.
• Support Yards Management, Labor Management, Cross-Docking, PPF and other warehouse functions, and prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, forms, reports and interfaces.
• Deliver and support change requests and projects through configuration, testing, deployment and post go-live support, including test scenarios, UAT support and quality gate assessments.
• Monitor processes, interfaces and background activities, master data quality and recurring failures, and provide user guidance and training.
• Support audit, compliance and control requirements, and contribute to S/4HANA roadmap, upgrades, migrations and technology adoption.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP EWM (strictly EWM, not SAP EM).
• Strong hands-on EWM functional experience, including a minimum of 3-4 full lifecycle implementations.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, and ability to explain technical issues to business users.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with stamina in a challenging environment.
