Head of Operations and Finance

About the role

Plan International Jordan is seeking a senior leader to oversee its finance, operations, logistics, security and counter‑fraud functions. Reporting directly to the Country Director, the Head of Operations and Finance will provide strategic guidance and ensure that all support services enable effective programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy, grant budgeting, SAP oversight, donor reporting, audit management and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Authorize payments above designated thresholds and ensure compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements.
• Provide operational governance for procurement, logistics, fleet, administration, asset management, ICT and security across all offices and field locations.
• Serve as the Counter‑Fraud focal point and oversee security risk assessments for the country office.
• Manage and develop the Operations and Finance teams, fostering a culture of value for money and long‑term sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in finance and operations within a humanitarian or non‑profit environment.
• Strong strategic acumen, analytical rigor and ability to anticipate financial and operational risks.
• Demonstrated capability to advise senior management on resource deployment and risk management.
• Excellent governance and compliance orientation.
