Health & Safety Coordinator (Electrical/Mechanical Engineer) – Jordan

About the role

We are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator with an engineering background to oversee safety and quality inspections at an airport construction site in Jordan. The role involves conducting up to 45 on‑site visits between June 2024 and March 2025, ensuring that all mechanical and electrical works comply with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute at least one site visit per week, adjusting frequency to project progress.
• Witness and verify mechanical and electrical installations, including loading tests.
• Inspect safety conditions before work starts and identify unsafe behaviours.
• Document findings and provide recommendations to maintain compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of safety checks.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer (dual qualification is a plus).
• Familiarity with health‑and‑safety inspection procedures.
• Ability to work independently on a construction site.
