Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor - Housekeeping

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and facilities meet Marriott’s quality standards after cleaning. This full‑time, onsite position coordinates housekeeping activities with engineering, front office, and laundry teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, and other spaces after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
• Assist housekeeping management with daily activity planning, hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
• Maintain safety, security, and company policies; report maintenance problems and safety hazards.
• Provide courteous guest service, including assistance for guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 55 lb unassisted (heavier with assistance).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency for entering and locating work‑related information.
