HR Officer – Payroll & HR Shared Services (Jordan)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated HR Officer to join our HR Shared Services team in Jordan. You will be responsible for delivering accurate payroll services across several MEA countries while ensuring compliance and a high standard of HR service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end monthly payroll process for Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman and the UAE.
• Process payroll transactions such as new hires, terminations, promotions, salary adjustments, overtime and deductions through the HRIS.
• Maintain accurate employee master data and ensure confidentiality of HR and payroll records.
• Coordinate with Finance and other stakeholders for payroll closing, reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations and social security requirements.
• Prepare recurring payroll, HR and statutory reports and support audit activities.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and compensation in a timely manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes and HR services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll, compensation or benefits, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Good understanding of payroll processes, labor laws, tax and social security regulations.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
