Human Resources Associate

About the role

The Human Resources Associate will support the HR Specialist in managing complementary personnel profiles and recruitment activities for UNRWA’s headquarters in Amman. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate HR data, smooth recruitment processes, and reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, review, and archive files for consultants, interns, volunteers, and other complementary personnel.
• Perform data cleansing and entry for the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) programme within the HR Management system.
• Monitor HR transactions on the Human Resources Information System, resolve discrepancies, and support system improvements.
• Develop and maintain databases or spreadsheets, generate statistical reports, and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with day‑to‑day recruitment tasks, including job posting preparation, applicant screening, interview coordination, and e‑recruitment system support.
• Prepare and update HR dashboards and monitor HR statistics for reporting purposes.

Required profile

• Experience supporting HR data management and recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with HR information systems and ability to perform data entry and cleansing.
• Strong attention to detail for archiving personnel files and generating accurate reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with HR staff and other departments.
