HVAC Engineer – Heating & Air Conditioning Specialist

About the role

The HVAC Engineer will support a licensed HVAC/Electrical contractor by applying engineering expertise to heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems at the Joint Training Center in Jordan. This position requires extensive hands‑on experience with control systems, heavy equipment, and field diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and provide technical resolutions for HVAC and heating control systems.
• Perform adjustments and calibrations on electronic and electrical control systems.
• Operate mobile heavy equipment and pneumatic control systems safely.
• Maintain and service CenTraVac equipment, boiler safety control systems, and digital air‑volume controls.
• Execute maintenance on Variable Valve Timing (VVT) systems.

Required profile

• Active US Government Secret clearance (interim acceptable) and US citizenship.
• Minimum five years of engineering experience with heating and air‑conditioning systems.
• HVAC certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% to support mission requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
