HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems for our facilities. The role includes scheduled maintenance, seasonal overhauls and support for emissions and refrigerant programs.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment.
• Perform scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhauls to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Conduct planning activities and facility surveys.
• Manage HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• Section 608 (Universal) certification or equivalent CFC/EPA certification.
• Formal HVAC/R training (military technical school, vocational college, or a four‑year apprenticeship).
• Four (4) years of practical HVAC/R maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. CENTCOM Medical Exam.
