IBM DataPower Developer

About the role

IBM is looking for an experienced IBM DataPower Developer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in integration and middleware solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in IBM DataPower, XSLT development and web services integration, and can design, configure, troubleshoot and optimise secure and reliable integration services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain IBM DataPower services to support enterprise integration requirements.
• Design and implement XSLT transformations and XML processing logic.
• Work with XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Configure and manage DataPower services, including Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy and XML Firewall.
• Implement and maintain security protocols and policies, including OAuth, SSL/TLS and AAA.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise DataPower services for performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand integration needs and deliver effective solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant hands-on experience in IBM DataPower development.
• Proven experience in XSLT development and transformation logic.
• Experience configuring and managing DataPower services (MPGW, Web Service Proxy, XML Firewall).

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and middleware integration.
• Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP and REST web services.
• Good understanding of security protocols such as OAuth, SSL/TLS and AAA.
