Implementation Associate - Procurement Platform

About the role

ABS is hiring an Implementation Associate for its B2B procurement platform. The role has three parts: implementing the platform for buyers, supporting suppliers and buyers after setup, and testing new releases before they reach customers.

Key responsibilities

• Take each new buyer from signup to its first request for quotation: configure the organization, users and approval rules, load supplier and item data and fix import mismatches, coordinate ERP integration with the SAP team where needed, and train the buyer's purchasing staff.
• Act as the single point of contact for suppliers and first point of contact for buyers after setup: help suppliers register and submit their first quote, follow up on overdue quotes, answer questions in Arabic and English, track recurring questions and turn them into product change requests, and maintain help material in both languages.
• Test every release in a fixed weekly block: run test scenarios, report defects with reproduction steps, re-test fixes before closure, and turn customer issues into new test scenarios.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, MIS, BIS, Computer Science or a related field.
• Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience.
• Careful and methodical, comfortable on the phone with people you have not met.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of purchasing: requests for quotation, quotations, purchase orders and vendor records.
• Comfortable with Excel.
• Nice to have: experience with an ERP such as SAP Business One, or experience in software testing or a support role.
