Information System Manager

About the role

The Information System Manager will lead the secure operation, development, and continuous improvement of all applications, software, and related computer systems used within the organization. Working closely with senior management, you will shape the IT strategy, ensure robust cybersecurity, and oversee network and data‑center infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for implemented technologies, application architecture, and cybersecurity.
• Identify business improvement opportunities and design system modifications or new application strategies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define application roadmaps, upgrade plans, and long‑term IT strategy.
• Negotiate with vendors, select and purchase hardware/software, and manage licensing compliance.
• Deploy, test, and maintain software applications across the network, ensuring reliability and security.
• Provide user training, support, and feedback while scheduling upgrades.
• Design and monitor disaster‑recovery, backup, and information‑security procedures.
• Manage secure remote network access and maintain data‑center hardware for optimal performance.
