Interior Architect

About the role

Smeirat Architects, a well‑established firm in Amman, is expanding its interior design capability. We are seeking an Interior Architect to lead residential villa and commercial interior projects from concept through detailed execution, working closely with our architectural team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial spaces.
• Select and specify wood, finishes, materials, furniture, and fixtures (FF&E) and coordinate with local suppliers.
• Produce detailed interior drawings and specifications using AutoCAD (and Revit when applicable).
• Create 3D visualisations and renders to communicate design intent to clients.
• Collaborate with architectural and structural teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings.
• Supervise interior work on‑site to ensure execution matches design.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design/Architecture.
• 5+ years of interior design experience, preferably on residential or commercial projects.
• Strong experience in wood and material selection with established local supplier relationships.
• Hands‑on site supervision experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit (optional but preferred).
• Experience with 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or D5 Render.
• Familiarity with presentation tools like Photoshop or Canva.
