IT Officer

About the role

The IT Officer will ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure, end‑user services and business systems operate securely, reliably and efficiently. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers, the role covers help‑desk support, asset management, data protection and basic network and system maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and resolve IT support tickets via the official help‑desk system, providing first‑line assistance for desktops, laptops, printers and standard applications.
• Prepare and configure new employee devices, install operating systems, standard software, antivirus and endpoint security, and maintain accurate asset records.
• Monitor end‑user data backup status, generate compliance reports and support data restoration requests.
• Conduct daily security checks, monitor antivirus alerts and endpoint protection tools, and report any security incidents.
• Assist users with enterprise applications such as email, SharePoint, HR and POS systems, handling access and permission issues.
• Support CCTV installation and maintenance, and assist in monitoring network availability, performance and connectivity across locations.
• Coordinate with internet, telecom and digital service providers to ensure service quality and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Ability to follow approved SOPs and service level agreements.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation, asset tracking and security monitoring.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with users and external providers.
