IT Team Leader

About the role

The Information Technology Audit Team Leader will support the bank in achieving its objectives by evaluating and improving governance, risk management, and control processes. This role provides objective assurance, adds value, and helps improve operations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing the audit plan with the Audit Manager and execute documented audit assignments.
• Audit the bank’s various systems, support team members, and investigate high‑risk issues to ensure resolution and prevent recurrence.
• Organise audit work according to the approved plan, review departmental procedures, and understand related operations and automated systems.
• Identify internal‑control weaknesses, assess associated risks, and recommend enhancements directly to the Audit Manager.
• Prepare audit findings and reports, discuss them with auditees, and promptly notify the Audit Manager of high‑risk issues.
• Train new employees on audit tools and techniques and report to the Audit Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT audit, information security or technology risk, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Banking or financial‑services experience preferred; exposure to internal audit, external audit or consulting is desirable.
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑management and leadership abilities, capable of presenting to senior management and the Audit Committee.
