Junior Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Join Freudenberg Vileda Jordan Ltd as a Junior Maintenance Engineer and support the reliability of our production equipment. You will work on‑site in Amman, executing preventive and corrective maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance in line with HSE standards to minimise downtime.
• Plan, schedule and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for machines, processes, materials and molds.
• Maintain and update maintenance procedures, technical documentation and system records.
• Coordinate spare‑parts activities, including RFQs and purchase requests.
• Track, analyse and report maintenance KPIs such as downtime, MTTR and MTBF.
• Support TPM, 5S and other continuous‑improvement projects with production and lean teams.
• Participate in equipment‑related projects and coordinate contractor activities.
• Assist with audits, inspections and condition‑monitoring to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in equipment reliability and maintenance optimisation.
• Ability to work safely and follow HSE procedures.
