Land Freight Officer

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Land Freight Officer to support our ground freight operations. The successful candidate will coordinate shipments, handle documentation and ensure smooth movement of goods across borders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day land freight activities, including scheduling and tracking of shipments.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, customs paperwork, and related compliance forms.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs agents, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain timelines.
- Monitor freight costs and assist in optimizing routes and loads.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to management.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in land freight or logistics operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.
