Land Release Technical Field Manager (TFM)

About the role

The Land Release Technical Field Manager (TFM) will lead explosive hazard mitigation activities in high‑risk, conflict‑affected environments in the Middle East. This hands‑on operational role requires strong technical expertise, resilience and the ability to work under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Explosive Hazard Assessments, including survey, classification and reporting.
• Plan and implement EOD operations (single, multi, bulk, air‑dropped munitions) in line with international standards.
• Support humanitarian access by verifying routes and conducting area assessments.
• Perform safety checks of humanitarian premises and operational sites.
• Deliver explosive‑hazard risk awareness briefings to humanitarian personnel.
• Coordinate with humanitarian actors and stakeholders, contributing to safe‑access mechanisms and representing technical activities in the field.

Required profile

• Minimum 11 years of military/police/mine‑action experience and 3 years of humanitarian mine‑action experience.
• At least 3 years of EOD experience, including work with single, multi, bulk and air‑dropped munitions.
• Experience in conflict or post‑conflict environments and familiarity with information‑management systems such as IMSMA.
• EOD Level 3+ certification (mandatory).
