Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team at The Ritz‑Carlton Amman. The role involves handling all aspects of hotel linen and guest clothing care, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machines, adding appropriate chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, spot‑treatment, rewash or discard.
• Inspect cleaned articles, sort them into clean linen carts and fold them by hand or using a folding machine.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric type and maintain equipment by cleaning screens, filters and traps after each load.
• Maintain accurate records of all items processed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or prior experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and uphold professional appearance.
