Lifeguard

About the role

Join a hotel within the Accor network as a Lifeguard responsible for the safety of guests and staff in the swimming pool area. You will ensure that all water‑related activities follow strict safety standards and respond promptly to any emergency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the designated swimming areas during posted business hours and ensure guest safety.
• Maintain and set up lifesaving equipment, including flotation devices, rescue surfboards, and first‑aid kits.
• Display correct safety flags and post business hours, depth, temperature, and wind information.
• Respond to emergencies, perform rescues, and administer CPR or mouth‑to‑mouth resuscitation as needed.
• Supervise water‑sport activities such as windsurfing, sailing, and sea‑bike use, ensuring compliance with RSA safety procedures.
• Ensure safety rules are clearly posted and that all participants wear required flotation devices.
• Maintain personal and team standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Recreation Manager.

Required profile

• Active certification from a recognized Lifeguard Association.
• Ability to perform artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Strong observational skills and the capacity to act quickly in emergency situations.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism.
