Logistics Assistant

About the role

The Logistics Assistant supports day-to-day logistics operations by assisting in transportation coordination, warehousing activities, inventory tracking and documentation. The role ensures accurate records, timely follow-up and smooth coordination with suppliers, transporters and internal departments in line with organizational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Support the department in research, administrative and reporting functions to keep the workflow running.
• Carry out logistics activities for raw-material shipments and finished-goods shipments of Jordan River Designs and Karma Kitchen.
• Assist in drafting shipping, clearance and exemption documents.
• Coordinate daily logistics activities, including transportation, delivery and distribution of goods.
• Follow up with transporters, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Help prepare delivery schedules and track shipments.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Support inventory tracking, stock counts and reconciliation under supervision, and ensure goods are properly labeled, stored and handled.
• Prepare and maintain delivery notes, waybills, goods received notes (GRNs) and stock records, and keep logistics files complete, accurate and archived.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, finance and production teams, and escalate delays or discrepancies to the direct manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of experience; previous experience in retail or FMCG is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English and Arabic.
