Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to protect our property, ensure guest safety, and maintain a secure environment at our Amman location. The role involves constant vigilance, rapid response to incidents, and thorough reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate EMS when needed.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and call for external assistance if necessary.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity logs.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts and maintain confidentiality of all reports.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and support quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact courteously with guests and staff.
• Professional demeanor, reliability and commitment to confidentiality.
• Willingness to work full‑time shifts and respond quickly to emergencies.

Required skills
