Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to support guest areas in our hospitality facility in Amman. The role involves responding quickly to repair requests, performing preventive upkeep, and ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and attend guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved procedures.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and clean work areas thoroughly.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping and engineering inventory, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs and maintain sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
