Maintenance Technician – Hotel Engineering

About the role

Accor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team of one of its hotels. The role involves ensuring that all building systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently, providing guests with a comfortable environment while supporting the hotel’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen and mechanical equipment.
• Monitor and maintain utilities such as diesel generators, pumps, air‑conditioning, lighting and water supply systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest complaints related to engineering services.
• Maintain accurate records, equipment logs and daily checklists.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when specialised work is required.
• Apply energy‑conservation practices and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Keep the engineering workshop and work areas clean and organized.

Required profile

• Familiarity with hotel fire and life‑safety emergency procedures.
• Ability to work according to hotel standards and departmental policies.
• Willingness to attend briefings, meetings and training sessions.
• Punctuality, professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Readiness to perform any reasonable duties assigned by hotel management.
