Manager – Tax & Legal Quality Risk Management

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Manager to lead Tax & Legal Quality Risk Management (QRM) across its Middle East engagements. You will be responsible for safeguarding client engagements, ensuring compliance with professional, legal and internal standards, and driving continuous improvement in risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mitigate risks within client engagements, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
• Lead implementation projects related to firm policies, procedures and risk controls.
• Maintain and update the internal Quality Management Manual.
• Provide risk‑management consultations to tax professionals and coordinate with subject‑matter experts.
• Plan, test and monitor key processes to evaluate quality and compliance.
• Support the Business Risk Leader on risk‑management matters and monitor Middle‑East regulatory changes.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for stakeholders.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks and serve as the day‑to‑day operational reference for engagement teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience with a Big 4 accountancy firm.
• Strong understanding of risk, quality and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including accountability, communication and relationship‑building.
