Mechanical Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will support the engineering and facilities team by performing routine and preventative maintenance on the property’s vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct minor routine maintenance on property vehicles, including checking oil and fluid levels, tire pressure, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, such as cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies, and requisition items as needed.
• Record daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, safety checks, test results, and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report hazards, and store flammable materials properly.
• Ensure professional appearance, protect company assets, and handle confidential information.
• Communicate clearly with team members, answer phones, and prepare written documents.
• Assist with physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and positioning objects up to 50 lb.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of related mechanical or maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

• Vehicle maintenance (oil checks, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery charging, spark plug replacement).
• Preventative maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Inventory management for maintenance parts and supplies.
