MEP Site Superintendent – UAE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Superintendent to lead on‑site execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for a major upcoming project in the UAE. The role involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and schedule adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site MEP activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, consultant instructions and local authority regulations.
• Coordinate material submittals, drawings and documentation, maintaining registers for audits and project tracking.
• Enforce HSE and QA/QC requirements through method statements, risk assessments, inspections and continuous monitoring.
• Monitor long‑lead items, verify deliveries and promptly address issues affecting timelines.
• Manage drawing control, issue revisions and keep accurate records of site changes and as‑built updates.
• Track labour productivity, site delays and constraints, and submit weekly progress reports to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning and preparation of close‑out documents in line with project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience supervising MEP works in construction or electromechanical projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods and industry standards.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing on‑site teams.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
