Mid-Level QA Engineer – Software Testing

About the role

Little Thinking Minds is looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its digital literacy platform. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software that supports Arabic literacy across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and mobile testing.
• Execute API testing and validate backend services.
• Conduct database validation using SQL queries.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support release validation and production verification activities.
• Mentor junior QA team members and share testing best practices.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• API testing
• SQL for database validation
• JIRA for defect tracking
• Mobile testing experience
• Automation basics: JavaScript, Cypress, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD integration
• CTFL certification (nice‑to‑have)
