Network Administrator I

About the role

V2X is seeking a Network Administrator I to join its global Network Operations Center. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, wireless, and VoIP infrastructures for defense‑related customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure availability of LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, outages, and network anomalies.
• Maintain VoIP phones, switches, routers, and encryption devices.
• Configure VLANs and ACLs, and enforce DISA STIG security compliance.
• Use Spectrum and other tools to administer the network and plan expansions.
• Escalate complex problems to higher‑level support and provide updates to the NOC service desk.
• Train new Network Administrator I personnel.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred).
• Adherence to DoD 8570.01M standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain host‑nation visa and driver’s license.

Required skills

• Cisco IOS configuration.
• Subnetting and switching knowledge.
• VLAN and ACL administration.
• VoIP network support.
• LAN/WAN and wireless troubleshooting.
• Network security procedures, including DISA STIG compliance.
• Experience with NOC environments and Spectrum software.
