Network Administrator II

About the role

V2X is seeking a Network Administrator II to lead a team responsible for maintaining and evolving LAN/WAN, VoIP, and secure communications networks for military and civilian customers worldwide. The role involves supervising junior staff, overseeing network security, and ensuring optimal network performance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate Network Administrators and NOC sites, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VoIP phones, switches, wired and wireless routers, and encryption devices (HAIPE).
• Monitor availability and reliability of LAN/WAN and wireless networks, reporting outages and corrective actions to the NOC service desk.
• Configure VLANs, ACLs, and Cisco IOS devices; provide training to new NA I personnel.
• Enforce network security procedures, including DISA STIG compliance and best practices.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups as required.
• Use Spectrum and other software tools to manage and administer the network.
• Plan network development and expansion, including sub‑netting and switching design.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN troubleshooting and network infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
• Experience supervising technical staff and coordinating with multiple work centers.
