Painter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Painter will join the hotel’s engineering team to respond quickly to guest repair requests and maintain the visual standards of the property. This full‑time, on‑site position combines painting, minor carpentry, and general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and attractive environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room assets.
• Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and conduct minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, air‑conditioning filters, and perform basic plumbing and electrical fixes.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any repair work.
• Carry out interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler repairs.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to work safely, follow company policies, and handle flammable materials correctly.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong guest‑service orientation.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb.
