People Business Partner Manager (Middle East)

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is the lead contact for business leaders on human capital issues, providing strategic HR support across the Middle East. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, regional people initiatives, recruitment, engagement, performance management, rewards, learning and talent, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR business partner for assigned business areas, advising leaders on people decisions and offering data-driven insights.
• Manage the employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, internal transfers, nationalization, engagement, grievance and disciplinary cases, and offboarding.
• Lead regional people initiatives such as All-Star Awards, people dashboards, reports and presentations.
• Support recruitment and onboarding with the TA team and hiring managers.
• Run mid-year and year-end performance cycles, develop Performance Managers and partner on salary reviews, bonuses and promotions.
• Partner with L&D on talent reviews, succession planning and graduate programmes.
• Handle employee relations cases in line with local requirements and firm policy, and analyse attrition trends.
• Build stakeholder relationships, manage people risks and lead and coach the HR team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as an HR Generalist.
• HR certification (e.g. PHR, CIPD level 5) preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
• Experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
• Strategic thinking, stakeholder management and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
