Portfolio Governance Senior Associate

About the role

The Portfolio Governance Senior Associate supports the Bank's Enterprise Governance Framework, ensuring that management committees operate with discipline, clarity, and decision‑driven focus. You will work closely with committee chairs, secretaries and senior stakeholders to maintain a unified governance model across Business, Control and Support committees.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the Enterprise Governance Framework for all management committees.
• Maintain an integrated committee governance model and feed it into the Executive Management Committee (EMC) and Executive Leadership Committee (ELC).
• Ensure each committee has an approved charter, mandate, scope, composition, cadence and review cycle.
• Standardise agenda templates so every agenda item leads to a clear decision, action, owner, timeline and outcome.
• Review and validate high‑quality minutes, decision registers, action trackers and escalation logs.
• Monitor monthly governance rhythm, coordinate committee sequencing and track escalations to EMC, ELC and Board‑level forums.
• Support the CEO Office in reviewing committee packs, governance dashboards and unresolved escalations before executive meetings.
• Monitor governance KPIs such as agenda compliance, MoM issuance SLA, overdue actions and quorum, and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in governance, risk, compliance or related corporate administration functions.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple committees and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
