About the role

SABIS is seeking a native‑speaker Primary English Teacher to join its Amman campus. The role focuses on delivering the SABIS curriculum, supporting student achievement, and fostering a disciplined, engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes using provided lesson plans and develop plans when required.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive classroom atmosphere.
• Proctor examinations and ensure proper test conditions.
• Provide targeted support and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Cover substitute teaching, manage student logistics, and perform administrative duties as assigned.
• Participate in student life events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS system.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects delegated by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
• Native English speaker with strong proficiency.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
