Procurement Officer – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Officer with solid experience in both local and international purchasing within the food manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and services needed for smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and operational supplies.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency.
• Create and follow up purchase orders through SAP, ensuring approvals and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with warehouses, finance, production, and other departments to streamline purchasing.
• Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment as needed.
• Handle import shipments, customs clearance, and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Conduct market research and track supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in food manufacturing.
• Proven experience with both local and international purchasing.
• Excellent command of English.
