Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for identifying key suppliers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring that all materials and products meet JORAMCO specifications. This role focuses on optimizing purchasing processes, controlling costs, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define the appropriate buying channel and select the best supplier based on price, quality, and lead time.
• Review bids, contracts, and proposals to ensure alignment with requisitions and requirements.
• Identify and implement cost‑reducing efficiencies through streamlining and automation.
• Resolve issues and expedite orders for contracts, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Track shipments from dispatch to warehouse arrival and manage purchase, loan, and repair orders.
• Analyze and evaluate supplier performance, and maintain and develop supplier relationships.

Required profile

• B.Sc. degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Accredited procurement certificates are a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Very good command of the English language.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
