Product Designer – UX/UI

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim Retail is looking for a Product Designer to join its UX design team at the Amman Head Office. You will work independently on complex design projects, shaping the user experience of our retail products and ensuring they meet both user needs and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑scale design projects from concept through deployment.
• Advance UX processes and contribute to design strategy development.
• Conduct design audits, heuristic evaluations, and comparative analyses.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering, advocating for UX best practices while ensuring technical feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers and support their integration into the team.
• Lead DesignOps initiatives to streamline workflows and improve design quality.
• Facilitate creative design sessions and promote innovative problem‑solving.
• Contribute to the scalability and consistency of the design system.
• Stay updated on design and technology trends and integrate new ideas into the workflow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or a related field; additional UX/UI certifications are a plus.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on UX/UI design experience with a proven track record of leading design initiatives.
