Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will work full‑time on site in Amman, overseeing daily manufacturing activities for distribution transformers. The role ensures efficient, safe production while meeting quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production planning and monitor workflow on the factory floor.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive process optimisation.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
• Prepare regular reports and communicate status updates to management and cross‑functional teams.
• Assist maintenance and troubleshooting activities to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret production data and resolve issues.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably electrical equipment or transformer production.
• Knowledge of safety practices, lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with production teams and external stakeholders.
