Project Management Engineer

About the role

Bank of Jordan is looking for a Project Management Engineer to lead strategic projects across the organization. The role involves planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects while ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of strategic projects from initiation to successful delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure effective execution and timely delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards and best practices.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate project performance and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver projects of varying size and complexity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or comparable project management software.
