About the role
UNRWA is seeking a Public Health Specialist/Epidemiologist (P3) to join its Programme Health office at headquarters in Amman, Jordan. The position will contribute to UNRWA’s public‑health mission for Palestine refugees, working at the intersection of public health, humanitarian action and frontline service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Work within UNRWA’s network of more than 130 health centres and a staff of over 3,000 health professionals.
- Participate in the delivery of primary health‑care services across Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
- Support the integration of public‑health initiatives with humanitarian programmes.
Required profile
- Demonstrated commitment to public‑health and humanitarian work.
- Ability to operate in a large United Nations environment with diverse staff.
